#HackTheMenu - Shake Shack General Information

Shake Shack has one of the most interesting beginnings of any restaurant on HackTheMenu. In 2000, Shake Shack started as a humble hot dog cart in Madison Square Park. It soon became the new kiosk-style restaurant within Madison Square Park, where it was intended to be a single location restaurant. However, business was booming and Shake Shack began to expand.

Shake Shack now has over 60 locations worldwide, all within a very short period of time.

Shake Shack is well known for their milk shakes, but they serve up a mean burger made from Angus beef. Since expanding, they have incorporated wine and local beer to their beverage menu. They still sell hot dogs as they did when they were a simple hot dog cart. Rounding out the menu are their crinkle cut fries, ice cream, and concretes.
