What is the Pokémon GO Frappuccino Blended Créme?
The fairly new mobile app game, Pokémon GO, took the world by storm when it was released earlier in July of this year. Now, on December 8, 2016, it has taken over Starbucks! We're here to give you all the details on what this means for Starbucks fans and fans of Pokemon!
First, let's talk about the drink: The Pokémon GO Frappuccino Blended Créme. It's very similar to the very popular Cotton Candy Frappuccino, but it has the added bonus of Freeze-dried Whole Blackberries. The added bonus on this frap, is that because it is a special promotional beverage by Starbucks, it will most likely be cheaper than the Cotton Candy frappuccino due to differences in how individual locations charge for extra pumps of syrups.
Now, back to Pokemon GO and what this means for Starbucks and you. First, the majority of company-operated Starbucks U.S. locations will be converted into either a PokéStop or a Gym if they aren't one already. That means that you have even more reasons to hang out at your local Starbucks and use their free wifi while you "study for finals". Now, you aren't required to play Pokémon GO to be able to get the new frappuccino, but it won't hurt to spin the PokéStop while you're waiting for your order.
Finally, be courteous of others and Starbucks, so don't just camp out there making noise and distracting others. Everyone just wants to enjoy their Pokémon and their coffee in peace, so keep your fights in the virtual world. Also, Team Valor is #1.
